About the Role
RATLI (Ranbir Application and Trading Ltd), a UK-based software company, is seeking a Content & Documentation Specialist to join our remote team. As we develop ThemeCrave, our premium marketplace for high-quality WordPress themes and plugins, we need a skilled writer to create clear, engaging, and structured documentation that helps users navigate and maximize our products.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical writing skills, a deep understanding of WordPress, and the ability to translate complex features into easy-to-follow guides and tutorials.
Key Responsibilities
As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Develop detailed user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting documentation for our WordPress themes and plugins.
- Write SEO-optimized blog posts and knowledge base articles on WordPress, UI/UX, and web development.
- Create step-by-step tutorials with visuals and screenshots to improve user experience.
- Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to document new features and updates.
- Ensure all documentation is well-structured, technically accurate, and easy to understand.
- Regularly update and refine documentation based on user feedback and product improvements.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (BSc Hons) in Computer Science, IT, English, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, Content Writer, or Documentation Specialist.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and website development.
- Excellent English writing and grammar skills.
- Ability to create step-by-step instructions with visuals and screenshots.
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices for online documentation.
- Familiarity with Notion, Google Docs, or WordPress blog editors.
